‘Identity as an Ethical Issue in Youth Media: Moving toward a New Theoretical Framework’
Damiana Gibbons, University of Wisconsin, Madison

In my dissertation as a whole, I explore how media literacy is taught, the media youth produce, and how much agency youth have in media production. In this presentation I will discuss some emerging ideas in developing my theoretical framework in which I am attempting to theorize the ethical dimensions to youth media production by reframing the entire question of ethics and youth media.</itunes:summary>
